What is Planning Muslim?
Planning Muslim is your go-to resource for discovering local events within the Muslim community and a platform for organisers to promote and sell tickets for their events.
Can I sell tickets for my event on Planning Muslim?
Absolutely! Just head over to the “Submit Event” tab to get started.
Is there a cost to list my event on Planning Muslim?
Listing your event is completely free. If you’re selling tickets through our platform, however, processing fees apply.
What are the fees for selling tickets on Planning Muslim?
- Free events: No charges at all.
- Paid events: Stripe payment processing fees apply (1.7% + 30¢ for most cards). You can check more details [here].
- Planning Muslim charges a flat 50 cents processing fee for tickers over $1.
I've created an event, but it's not showing on the calendar.
Every event needs to be approved by Planning Muslim before it appears on the calendar. Once approved, it will be visible to the public.
How does check-in work for my event?
Organisers can check guests into their event using a name list or by scanning QR codes from their tickets upon arrival.
How does Planning Muslim differ from other ticketing websites?
Our mission is to bring the community together while keeping fees low and more affordable than similar ticketing platforms. While we are continually improving, please note that organisers currently cannot access real-time ticket sales data. However, we can provide an Excel report upon request.
Who owns Planning Muslim?
Planning Muslim is managed by local Brisbane residents.
